The confusion of declension amp

11.05
The confusion of declension & conjugation is proof sufficient, should that be needed, of Dual Hemispherical Dribblation, or DHD Syndrome. This rare syndrome is manifested disproportionately in those of the venal kind.

Nevertheless, and despite, the sun shines on Mount Juliet and my morning has already been eventful. A gentle entry to the day via the bath (rather than shower), waving to Crafties in varied locations, reading "The English" to an accompaniment of Joe the Prolific (c/o Quatuor Mosaiques), a productive pencil frenzy and an online visit to GC Diaries & the Guestbook.

I learnt that the Argentinian peso has been devalued. The consequences of this are in the air but will fall with an almighty Crumpo! on all my Argentinian family, friends & acquaintances wherever they are in the world. Hernan in Germany, Fernando & MG in Spain, and the Argentinian team grouping in Europe will feel their hearts skip gently, I think.

The Space Module and Adrian's gear left for the rehearsal space with John & Ken yesterday. We shall be reunited with it tomorrow, the beginning of full band rehearsals. This is a pivotal period for King Crimson, a time of redefinition & reconstruKction. By the middle of August something will have changed, although how is not yet decided. There are possibilities & potentials hovering around the Throne of King Crimson and our actions in the next month are critical.

Discipline enables us to hold ourselves in front of a challenge, or a task.
The work is in meeting the challenge, not acquiring the discipline.
But until we have acquired the discipline, our proper work has not begun.
So, until then, our work is to acquire discipline; in the knowledge that this is not an end in itself, only the means to an end.

Pencil flurries continue with good progress on shaping two new Crimson pieces. The train wrecks at 12th. & Porter helped this along!

Calls to Toyah in Stafford, at the end of her last show of this run, and Curt Golden in Seattle, with a bright idea, meet with message machines.
